Title predictions for this time next year

This is undoubtedly one of the toughest aspects of WWE to predict as we have no idea what could happen and, as the old motto says "anything can happen in the WWE". However, in this article I will attempt to predict which superstars will be our champions by this time next year.

United States

We start with the United states championship. I strongly believe Kevin Owens will beat Cena for the title at battleground but if Owens continues the open challenge it could become anyone's title.

However, I believe that Cesaro will regain the gold after his showing on Raw against Cena but the gold could also go to Neville who also had a good showing on Raw a few months ago. I have no choice but to respect Cena for making the US title relevant once again and restoring it to its former glory.

Tag Titles

Next up Is the tag team championships currently held by the prime time players, Darren Young and Titus O Neill. These titles are also incredibly hard to predict because the tag team division is highly unpredictable and anything could happen.

This being said however, I believe the titles will sit around the waist of either the Lucha Dragons or the Ascension. Both teams have been made to look relatively strong over the past couple of weeks and I believe this bodes well for their future with the titles. Depending on the health of Tyson Kidd we could also see the titles return to Cesaro and Kidd this time next year.

Intercontinental

Thirdly, the Intercontinental title. The IC title currently rests with "the big guy", Ryback. I believe this title will rest with either Neville, Bad News Barrett or Sami Zayn.

I do believe this title will rest with an NXT superstar this time next year as the IC title is arguably the key to "climbing the ladder" of WWE as the intercontinental title is more prestigious than the WWE championship in my personal opinion due to the countless hall of famers and future hall of famers who have held the title.

WWE Championship

Last but not least is the big one, the WWE championship. This title is possibly the title which people anticipate the most in terms of who will be the champion. Of course we have Sheamus as the money in the bank winner which instantly puts him to the top of the list as a possibility.

However, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Brock Lesnar and John Cena could all be contenders for the title.

Divas

As for the Divas title I truly believe there is only one woman who will be the champion in a year and that person is Charlotte. Charlotte Flair is a powerful and talented woman and if she was accompanied to the main roster by divas like Sasha Banks and Bayley there could be a renaissance within the Divas division which is desperately needed.

As for the NXT title and the NXT divas title these are completely unpredictable as the NXT roster is always changing with new introductions and people being drafted up to the main roster.

This being said I do believe Samoa Joe will be the NXT champion next year but this is by no means set in stone and as for the NXT women's title this is completely unpredictable but we could Dana Brooke as the women's champion but as I said before it is completely unpredictable.
