Ex-WWE employee gets second chance as Tough Enough replacement

Published 2 Comments

When WWE decided to bring back their 'Tough Enough' competition they were hoping for drama and excitement, as well as the possibility of unearthing future wrestling talent.

Well, after female wrestler Dianna walked out of the show on Tuesday night the powers that be certainly got the drama they were looking for. Unfortunately, it also left them an extra contestant down at this stage of proceedings.

Second chance

With the WWE unwilling to carry on one potential star light they have moved fast to bring in a replacement - a female wrestler who has actually worked for the company in the past.

As reported by Wrestling Inc, Chelsea Green will be taking up the vacant spot left by Dianna. The Storm Wrestling Academy graduate confirmed the news herself with a message posted on Twitter:

Familiar face

Green may be familiar to those eagle eyed WWE fans out there having previously worked a RAW show as Daniel Bryan's physical therapist, Megan Miller, back in August 2014.

Her role in the storyline saw Green admit to having an affair with Daniel Bryan as The Authority looked to antagonise the Superstar's wife Brie Bella.

With Daniel Bryan sitting as one of the judges on WWE: Tough Enough it will be interesting to see if he comments on her former employment when she makes her first appearances.

Having previously described the affair storyline as "groan-worthy", though, it doesn't look like Daniel Bryan is ready to hand out any favors for the new arrival.

Popular choice

Having originally been rejected for the show after making it to the final 40, Chelsea Green is proving popular with those who have already been in the show for the past few weeks.

The likes of Amanda and Patrick Clark Jr. have already taken to social media to express their excitement:
