A document purporting to show the inner workings of the WWE has today been leaked.
Published online to Reddit's wrestling community 'Squared Circle', the eight-page long document appears to show the strict rules enforced on television announcers by Vince McMahon and the WWE hierarchy.
The chance to see exactly how the WWE wish their brand to be portrayed is a rare thing indeed and wrestling fans have been quick to dissect the findings. You can see it for yourself further down this article.

Only earlier this week there were stories of Vince McMahon imposing a new ban on certain wrestling terms and the in-depth instruction manual, believed to be from around 2009-2010, includes a full list of words announcers should avoid at all costs.
As well as keeping a tight leash on the WWE lexicon, Vince McMahon and co can be seen handing out advice on everything from fan interaction and awareness of world events, to enthusiasm and avoiding mentioning any sign of blood.
The full document can be seen via this link to Imgur, but here are a couple more pages that are included in the leak...
Some fans may argue that seeing things like this, or leaked WWE scripts, takes away a little from the enjoyment of watching the show unfold. But for many fans it is simply an unexpected bonus as they get to see how the people in charge look after the brand, and see how it has grown to the global force that it now is.
The WWE has always been incredible conscious of how it is portrayed outside of the packed out arenas and this incredibly detailed handbook is just another example that they really do leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of excellence.
It would be interesting to compare a more recent document, say from one of this year's RAW shows, with this five-year old leak to see whether the WWE has added even more rules or if they are taking more of a lighter approach as the guys on the mic master their craft.
