The future of Loic Remy at Stamford Bridge looked precarious heading into the summer transfer window, what with Radamel Falcao arriving to act as immediate backup to Diego Costa. Now, it appears as though the inevitable has happened, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce in London, in the form of their president, to agree terms of a deal to buy the Frenchman. Some fans may feel that Remy hasn’t been given a fair shake by Jose Mourinho, but at the very least Fenerbahce will give him a new stomping ground to showcase his talents. Meanwhile Frank Lampard has warned that Arsenal’s purchase of Petr Cech could make them title contenders. The Gunners signed Cech from Chelsea despite the fact Mourinho wasn’t keen on a deal. You don’t see that very often.
