Last week, it was announced that the latest TakeOver special event will be moving away from the usual venue of Full Sail University and will be taking place the night before SummerSlam at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
This will be the biggest NXT TakeOver event in history as SummerSlam will take place in the same venue the following night.
One of the matches that will get fans in the mood for SummerSlam will feature Kevin Owens as he gets his NXT Championship rematch against Finn Balor.

BALOR VS. OWENS
The NXT Championship changed hands last Saturday in Tokyo, Japan where Kevin Owens failed to keep hold of the title against the number one contender.
Finn Balor had to go through Tyler Breeze at the last TakeOver event to become the number one contender.

He finally got his hands on Owens in Tokyo where it was seen as a homecoming of sorts on a great night where Balor finally became the NXT Championship. This will spearhead the roster going forward.
With Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami injured, and Kevin Owens now on the main roster, it will be up to Finn Balor to carry NXT.
He will do so alongside the likes of Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze and obviously the uber-impressive divas, two of which are also set to compete at SummerSlam in Charlotte and current NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.
It’s a safe bet to say that Kevin Owens won’t be dethroning Finn Balor, especially since Owens is set to challenge John Cena for the United States Championship at Battleground. There’s a chance he might even win the title.
He should also play a big role at SummerSlam considering he’s had such a successful first few months on the main roster. His presence on NXT as well as the TakeOver event will be crucial based on the absentees.
This past week on NXT, we also crowned new number one contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championships as The Vaudevillians surprisingly defeated Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.
They will now challenge Blake & Murphy for the gold; that match should also take place at TakeOver: Brooklyn.
The divas will also play a big role on NXT, perhaps they’ll even have two spots on the card.
We should expect the NXT Women’s Championship to be defended by Sasha Banks, with the likes of Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Emma and Dana Brooke all battling for a shot at the championship.
As always, we should also expect to see the usual stars compete in matches. Tyler Breeze needs to be on the card whilst Baron Corbin will also be a big attraction.
This would also be the perfect opportunity for Uhaa Nation to debut as this would definitely have fans talking about what TakeOver: Brooklyn was all about.
TakeOver will certainly impress, as it always does. Finn Balor and Kevin Owens will definitely tear the house down and expectations will be set even higher for SummerSlam and the main roster the following evening.
