That’s according to Spanish newspaper AS, who report that Atletico Madrid have their eye on the Montenegrin defender as a back-up to Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez. But the La Liga giants face competition from the Premier League, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United set to make offers.
Fiorentina value Savic at €15m and the Italian club have reportedly already turned down one offer from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

The transfer window thrives on these sorts of bizarre rumours, because it really would be a massive surprise should Savic return to the Premier League at a top team.
The former-Manchester City defender flopped at the Etihad Stadium and was swiftly allowed to move on after failing to make an impact.
He has rebuilt his career somewhat in Serie A but it would still be a shock to see him return to England with a team like Manchester United or Arsenal.
Chelsea need to strengthen their central area over the long-term, with Jose Mourinho eyeing up potential replacements for club captain John Terry.
And as for Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers spent big last summer on Dejan Lovren but that deal has yet to come off for the Merseyside manager. Clean sheets remain a problem for the Anfield club, so it would not be a surprise to see Rodgers add a central defender to the signing of right-back Nathaniel Clyne.
Savic could be that man although out of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Atletico, the safest bet would be a switch to the Spanish club.
What do you think - where will Savic end up this summer?
