Victor Valdes is ready to stay at Manchester United despite ongoing interest from Turkish club Antalyspor, his agent has confirmed.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been training with the Old Trafford club for almost a year and signed an 18-month deal during the January transfer window.
But Valdes started just one Premier League game in the final six months of the season, replacing an injured David de Gea during a tie against Hull City.

Seemingly frustrated with a lack of first-team football, a source from Antalyspor claimed that they were closing in on a shock deal for Valdes.
"We are in talks with Victor Valdes," the club's press officer told Eurospor TR. "Once an agreement is reached, we will be able to sign yet another world star to Antalyaspor."

"His only wishes are to remain at Manchester United and he has another year left on his contract"
His agent, Gines Carvajal, has moved quickly to dismiss this comment, insisting that the 33-year-old is happy to stay and compete at Manchester United. He did, however, confirm that talks with a Turkish club have happened.
"I’ve been contacted by a series of individuals from Turkey to negotiate a move for Victor,” Carvajal told AS.
“But I haven’t spoken with the president of the Turkish club in question. I don’t know him. I have no plans to talk with them again as my player has no interest in a move to Antalyaspor.
"His only wishes are to remain at Manchester United and he has another year left on his contract. We don’t see any reason for him to leave the club."
Of the two Spanish goalkeepers linked with a move away from Manchester United, Louis van Gaal would probably wish for Valdes to leave and for his team-mate David de Gea to stay.
The 24-year-old is widely expected to leave for Real Madrid this summer after refusing to sign a new deal at Old Trafford. His current contract expires in 2016.
If he does leave, De Gea will need to be replaced and there is every chance that Valdes will be given a chance to establish himself.
Had both of them left, then Van Gaal's task in the transfer market would have become twice as difficult.
