Manchester United signing Morgan Schneiderlin has admitted that it was an easy decision to join the club after they made their interest known.
As reported by the club's official site, Schneiderlin, who put pen to paper on a four year deal at Old Trafford earlier today, has insisted that he's 'delighted' to be joining the club after starring at Premier League outfit Southampton since 2008.
Schneiderlin, of course, is recognised as one of the leading midfielders in England's elite division after his consistent performances at the St Mary's over the last couple of years.

Having produced the goods week in, week out under the guidance of Ronald Koeman, the French international will no doubt be hoping to prove his credentials on both the European and domestic scene with United.
And he certainly seems excited by the challenge ahead, as he's insisted that the chance to join the club was too good to turn down.
Speaking to the club's official site, the Frenchman stated: "I am delighted to be a Manchester United player. Once I learned that United were interested in signing me, it was a very easy decision to make.
"I have enjoyed seven very happy years with Southampton and it’s a club that will always be in my heart. But the chance to be part of this squad to help this great club be successful was too good to miss.
"I’m excited to be starting that journey on our trip to the USA. I know what Manchester United means to fans all over the world and I’m looking forward to experiencing that."
Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal, meanwhile, had insisted that the midfielder is extremely talented and will complement his new teammates in Manchester.
The United boss stated: "Morgan is a very talented player with great energy and ability. His skills will complement the players that we already have and I am very pleased that we have been able to complete this deal before the tour to the United States.
That training camp will be very important in our preparations for the new season and gives Morgan and the other players a chance to show our fans what they can achieve together."
There's no doubt about it, Manchester United's transfer business in this transfer window has been nothing short of brilliant.
The club now have tremendous options in the middle of the park and most certainly look good enough to challenge for the Premier League title sooner rather than later.
Schneiderlin really will compliment his new teammates at Old Trafford: dynamic and strong, the Frenchman is the ideal signing for United and could form a fine partnership with fellow signing Bastian Schweinsteiger.
With Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind also at the club, the United boss has many great options at his disposal.
