Arsenal are being linked with a move for AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
The 24-year-old only joined the Serie 'A' giants 11 months ago, but could be on his way out of Italy as the Gunners consider a summer swoop for the player.
Arsene Wenger tried to bring the centre back to the Emirates Stadium last summer, according to the Independent, but missed out on the former Olympiacos ace as he opted for a move to the Eternal City.

It could prove to be an expensive transfer for miss for Arsenal too, with Roma now looking for a fee in the region of £21.6million for the player. They paid £10.3million less than a year ago.
There is also extra competition for the 20-cap Greek international's signature, with the paper going on to claim that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is also interested in adding the player to his squad.
The Red Devils have been busy bolstering their side in recent days, with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmian joining Memphis Depay at Old Trafford for the new campaign.
Arsenal have been significantly quieter, although the capture of Petr Cech from Chelsea has been heralded as a significant coup. They've also bolstered their Academy ranks in north London with a handful of junior signings.
Wenger still has plenty of time to add to the Gunners though, and the Giallorossi defender has been earmarked as a potential defensive option alongside Jonny Evans, the Manchester United centre back.
The 27-year-old would almost certainly come at a cheaper price, should Arsenal wish to pursue the Northern Irishman, but after Manolas made 30 league appearances for the side finishing second in Italy last season, he appears to be the ideal candidate.
