Manchester United winger Angel di Maria wants to return to Real Madrid this summer, according to the Telegraph.
The report claims that the Argentine international, who endured a tricky debut campaign on English soil, is ready to leave Old Trafford behind sooner rather than later, with it being claimed that his wife Jorgelina Cardoso is extremely unhappy in Manchester.
Di Maria, of course, only left the Bernabeu behind for a British record fee of £59.7 million in last summer's transfer window, however he could yet make a sensational return to the Bernabeu.

It appears, though, according to the same report, that a return to Real is unlikely, with the club seemingly showing little interest in landing their former star.
That may well lead the Argentine international to French moneybags PSG, who have been credited with interest in the wide-man's services for some time now.
Laurent Blanc and Co. at the French champions appear to be ready to secure the signature of the struggling Manchester United ace, but it remains to be seen as to whether he will look to leave for Ligue 1.
As it stands, the player is currently recovering after starring for Argentina at this past summer's Copa America, so won't be heading out to the US with United on their pre-season tour.
There's no doubt about it, it looks set to be an interesting few weeks for Di Maria, who may well have a big decision to make in the near future.
Stay on and fight
Ok, so things clearly haven't gone to plan for Di Maria, and it wouldn't exactly come as a surprise if he moved on in the next few weeks, but perhaps he should stay and prove his credentials in the Premier League.
Having already signed four top players, United will no doubt be even better next season, and Di Maria can still play a key role, as the club go in search of success on both the domestic and European scene.
Van Gaal seemingly is determined to find the perfect balance for his side, so handing Di Maria a permanent role in the side will only help the Argentine kick on in Manchester. The easy option would be to give up on his Old Trafford career, but he certainly has more to give and could yet surprise a few in 2015/16.
