New photo of The Undertaker will excite WWE fans

Published 9 Comments

Now 50 years of age, The Undertaker is no longer a sure thing to appear in the WWE even though he only really has one gig a year - WrestleMania.

The legendary wrestler has taken so much punishment down the years that fans are constantly in fear that his most recent 'Mania performance will have been his last.

So whenever the WWE Universe gets a chance to see how The Undertaker is doing during his time away from the company it usually brings great interest. Fortunately for his followers, the latest photo to surface shows The Deadman looking in stunning shape.

Snapped by gym owner Joe DeFranco during a workout session in Austin, Texas, The Undertaker certainly looks like is well on the way to putting himself in the frame for a serious WrestleMania moment come 2016.

The image of a ripped Undertaker contrasts sharply with some of the other "down-time" photos that have surfaced of the Superstar in recent times.

Back in late 2014 for instance, a photo taken in an airport waiting lounge showing The Undertaker looking a shadow of his former self had WWE fans worrying they may never see the star wrestle again.

Of course, photos can be taken out of context and no-one but The Undertaker himself is totally sure of his condition throughout the year. Today's photo though does at least suggest you'd have to be a brave man to tell him that his WrestleMania days are over.

He looks in as good a shape as he has done for years.

Big plans

We already know Vince McMahon is doing his best to pull out all the stops for a WrestleMania 32 in Texas that he hopes will set records.

A star-studded card wouldn't be the same without a huge Undertaker moment and it is clear from his current status that the wrestler is doing his very best to get himself in a condition that allows him to do justice to his legendary status.

Jim Ross has already speculated this week that The Undertaker's 'Mania 32 match - potentially against Sting - will be his last before retirement.

If that is the case then you know The Undertaker will be doing all he can to go out with a bang. Judging by the photo above, Sting doesn't stand a chance.

Until the lights go out and The Undertaker is doing what he does best in the squared circle there will always be rumors that he is set to retire.
