We're deep into NBA free agency now and all of the major free agents available to teams have been snapped up to expensive new contracts.
That doesn't mean there aren't any more interesting goings-on happening around the league, however.
And one of those occured today as the Boston Celtics, and a bunch of other NBA teams for that matter, have been completely rejected by one player.

Datome's Ditching The NBA
According to a Facebook post from Luigi Datome, who played for the Boston Celtics last season, he has decided to reject contract offers from multiple NBA sides in order to join Fenerbahce Ulker in Europe.
Datome said that he was looking to be a serious part of a teams rotation and wouldn't sign for a team if they weren't going to make serious efforts to make him a part of the game plan. No team did, and now he's off to Turkey.
"At the end of my 2 years in the NBA my targets for the Free Agency were:
To play at the highest level of basketball and to fight for important results while being a real piece of the team as far as contribution and role in the rotation," the Italian started off as saying.
"I want to thank all the Nba teams that offered me a spot on the roster but as I said many times I was looking for a place where I could be an important piece of the rotations," Datome wrote.
Datome was traded from the Pistons to the Celtics at the deadline last season, and averaged just 10.7 minutes per game in 18 regular season appearances.
But he was a fan favorite of sorts in Boston, and was able to score in double digits in the few instances where he was given enough playing time to do some damage.
Just check out the highlights of his only start of the season, hitting 22 against the Bucks on the last day of the season, showing off a silky smooth jumper.
