According to reports, Dolph Ziggler has signed a new contract with the WWE.
Rumours were circulating throughout June that Ziggler might be leaving the WWE at the end of his contract.
Near the end of June, the former World Heavyweight Champion did an interview with the Boston Herald saying he had re-signed with the WWE.

He said: "I mean, it feels like I started here, I should end my career in the WWE. I feel like they like having me around and I love working here, so it would be really hard to walk away."
Rumours then started to come around that he hadn't resigned, and Ziggler added fuel to the fire by saying that he: "might have to go away for a bit," according to Cageside Seats.
However, it was confirmed by PWInsider that The Showoff had resigned with the WWE. Not only has the former Intercontinental Champion signed a new contract, but he will also have a role in a movie by WWE Studios called '6:42'.
Ziggler will play Ray Fitzpatrick, a cop with a troubled past while dealing with a plot that could see a child blow up with a bomb strapped to their chest. I wonder if Ziggler will still have his blonde hair in this movie?
He will be filming the thriller movie in Vancouver for the next few weeks after being written off WWE programming thanks to an attack by Rusev.
Rusev attacked Ziggler last week on Raw with his crutches, shoving one of them into The Showoffs throat. This caused him to be stretchered off to the back.
The attack came because Ziggler has been hanging around with Rusev's ex-girlfriend Lana, kissing her in front of The Bulgarian Brute several times.
Going away to record this movie really sells the beating Ziggler took from the former United States Champion. It sets it up nicely for a SummerSlam match between the two as well.
This could also end up being a mixed tag team match too, with Lana teaming up with The Showoff, whilst Summer Rae would team up with The Bulgarian Brute.
