Who needs to join the likes of Balor and Samoa Joe?

After months of speculation, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and current NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks finally appeared on Monday Night Raw in a highly entertaining segment which has left the fans wanting more and interested to see what their future holds.

They are still competing on NXT, and the reception the trio received showed that the work they have put in on NXT has paid off, and sooner or later they will be full-time main roster superstars and divas.

This means huge gaps will be left on NXT, and that’s something the fans need to prepare for. When the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Charlotte join the main roster, other stars will need to step up and enter the main event picture; not only to entertain the fans but to create successful careers for themselves.

Several sources have already reported that plans are in place for a number of NXT talents, and focus will be on them from September through to September.

These focus is set to be on current NXT Champion Finn Bálor, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, Bayley, Hideo Itami, Mojo Rawley, Blake and Murphy, Alexa Bliss as well as Uhaa Nation.

Here are the stars I believe could join the likes of Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in the NXT main event picture in the coming months.

Bayley is a prominent figure on NXT. She’s there pretty much every single week and is a solid worker in the ring and a firm fan favourite as well, but we can still see that she hasn’t hit the heights we know she can hit, and that involves the NXT Women’s Championship.

Bayley has been involved in a number of NXT Women’s Championship matches and feuds, and she’s always come very close to becoming the new champion but the likes of Charlotte and Sasha Banks have managed to beat her to it.

Bayley is capable of carrying the NXT women’s division given the opportunity, as long as the level of competition is there.

She can work in the ring, she’s comfortable on the microphone as well and if she can continue improving in all aspects then she’ll definitely an even bigger diva on the roster.

Baron Corbin is also a regular on NXT, but it’s clear his popularity has decreased since when he re-debuted on NXT.

He has a great look about him, but that can only get you so far and we’re seeing every week that the NXT Universe wants to see more from ‘The Lone Wolf’. If he continues the way he’s going he’ll find it difficult to get out of NXT especially at his age.

He needs to improve. I believe that if he does manage to become a better performer and grows more comfortable on the microphone and is able to deliver more entertaining promos frequently, he can definitely be seen as someone who is capable of becoming the NXT Champion.

He’s exactly what you look for in a superstar. Having the NXT Championship around his waist would make him a must-see attraction and if he does reach main event status, he would be someone who can fill the void of the guys who do leave for the main roster.

Solomon Crowe is one of the most experiences wrestlers on NXT but he’s struggling to reach the heights that were set for him.

He had a great independent career as Sami Callihan so it was obvious fans would be interested to see how it all plays out for him, and it hasn’t been smooth sailing so far.

You could argue that his gimmick isn’t a solid and it’s holding him back, because we know just how good he is inside of the ring and he’s even better on the microphone.

Crowe needs a solid feud, that’s the key thing that’s been missing for him as he seems to be floating around and competing in matches here and there.

If Crowe can be built upon as a character, have him in frequent matches in a feud which culminates at a TakeOver event, he can be someone who is able to become the NXT Champion.

He has all the talent in the world to replace someone like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, now he just needs an opportunity to prove himself and he needs to take it with both hands.

Tye Dillinger is a little bit more interesting, he hasn’t had the chance to prove himself much on television other than teaming with Jason Jordan. However, on house shows he is said to be one of the more entertaining superstars.

From what we have seen of him in his new gimmick, he can definitely work and he definitely has a good look which can be invested in. He finds himself in a similar situation to Solomon Crowe, it’s about handing him an opportunity and it’s one he would need to take.

He isn’t getting any younger and if he’s able to fight his way to the main event picture, I feel Dillinger is someone the fans would be fully invested in.

He’s yet to debut on NXT television and we’re all still talking about him. Uhaa Nation was one of the more highly anticipated signings the WWE made after an impressive career on the independent scene.

Many have claimed that the concluding months of this year will feature Uhaa Nation in a prominent role, and he’s easily someone who could spearhead the NXT division.

He is incredible in the ring, very athletic and he definitely has the look of a champion, someone who was born to wear gold and I feel NXT would be a great platform for him to introduce himself to the fans that don’t know him yet.

I think the one thing he needs to work on is his character building as well as his promo work, but I don’t think that will be too big of an issue for him as his wrestling ability is that good.

If you combine all of his qualities together, he’s someone who can definitely be a future NXT Champion and fill the void left by bigger superstars.

If you combine all of these superstars with the current stars in Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Hideo Itami; the NXT main event picture will continue to be entertaining and as competitive as ever.
