What do you think of the BBC and their performance in delivering great television?
In my opinion they are simply the best in the world and nothing better illustrates that fact when watching Wimbledon and the British Open Golf Championship.

The ability to watch individual tennis games, highlights and turning points superb - in terms of golf who can not relish the comments and insight of Peter Alliss and Ken Brown?
The uninterrupted coverage is truly exceptional and is the yardstick other broadcasters should measure themselves against.
When you consider a couple of months subscription to Sky would pay for the BBC licence fee for the whole year there is little more to say.
I for one would deplore the BBC having to curtail any of their output by politicians messing with the licence fee.
Sky have made some interesting innovations in the coverage of cricket and F1 but by and large they are just gimmicks and still don’t match the coverage of the BBC.
If the issue is competition – there is already enough what with EuroSport, Virgin Media, Pay as you View and the like. I would like to wager if there was a BBC subscription channel they would effectively clean up and leave the competition in the dust.
I want my children to enjoy the kind of live sport TV coverage I enjoyed as a kid without the need to buy a Sky box or other electronic devices. Leave the BBC alone and leave it to what it does best.
Do you think more sport should be shown on BBC? Are the likes of Sky only interested in our money rather than viewership? Give us YOUR opinion in the comment box below!
