Manchester United still have an interest in signing Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale in this transfer window.
As reported by the Mirror, according to club sources, United could yet look to land the Welsh international in a world record £95 million swoop in the near future, as Louis van Gaal continues to improve the Red Devils.
United, of course, have already landed four new players over the course of the summer, with the quartet of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmian all having arrived at the club.

It appears, though, that the club's transfer business is far from over, and Bale could still be brought in before the start of the new campaign.
Bale, of course, has endured an up-and-down time in Spain over the last couple of years. After helping the club secure Champions League silverware in his first campaign with the club, he struggled to find his best form last time round, and was often criticised by the club's faithful.
It will be difficult
There's no doubt about it, though, it would come as a major surprise if Manchester United actually secured the player's signature. At the end of the day, even if the club made a world record bid, the Real hierarchy surely wouldn't want to give up on the former Tottenham man already.
For United, though, a superstar name would no doubt make this the perfect transfer window for Louis van Gaal and Co., who have already improved the club a great deal in recent weeks.
Bale, of course, would prove a fantastic signing for United, and would no doubt fire them into contention on both the domestic and European scene.
