The agent of Edinson Cavani has confirmed his client won't be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer after receiving assurances about his position next season.
The Uruguayan has been one of the most prolific forwards in Europe over the past few seasons, and has netted 56 goals for PSG since his £55 million transfer from Napoli in 2013.
However he was said to be unhappy with the fact that he'd been forced to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Parc des Prince, and was seeking a move.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old after letting Robin van Persie join Fenerbahce and opting against making Radamel Falcao's loan move to Old Trafford permanent. As it stands Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal can only call upon Wayne Rooney, James Wilson and Javier Hernandez - and the Mexican could be out the exit soon as well.
It had been claimed that Paris Saint-Germain's interest in winger Angel di Maria, which was confirmed by boss Laurent Blanc this week, could be used to negotiate a swap deal.
However that deal is dead in the water after Cavani's agent Walter Guglielmone confirmed that while his client has received offers, he won't be on the move because PSG have promised him more time as the club's lone striker next term.
He told Journal du Dimanche: "This summer Edi has received interest from top clubs who are chasing a centre-forward. He hasn't listened to them because he was given guarantees about his position at the end of last season.
"We have been led to believe that Ibrahimovic will pay further and further away from the box in order to touch the ball more, leaving the striker position for Edi to fill, which was the case several times at the end of 2014-15. In such conditions, Edi will be happy at PSG."
Manchester United will be forced to look elsewhere in order to bolster their forward line, and one potential option is Thomas Muller.
The Bayern Munich ace is a favourite of Van Gaal but will be difficult to prise away from the Allianz Arena because his club do not want to sell this summer.
