An English comedian threw money at Sepp Blatter as the FIFA president prepared to give details of the February 26 presidential election at a press conference.
The 79-year-old, who announced at the start of June that he would be standing down as president of FIFA, was about to address the world's media in Zurich when Simon Brodkin, posing as his alter-ego Lee Nelson, interrupted proceedings.
The stand-up comic confronted Blatter, saying "here you go, Sepp", before throwing a pile of bank notes at the under-fire president. Consequently, Brodkin was hauled away from the stage by security staff.

Blatter left the stage soon after before a FIFA official revealed that the press conference would be delayed.
This is the latest in a string of pranks by Brodkin, who famously invaded the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury during Kanye West's set last month and attempted to board the England national team's plane to Miami last June for their World Cup training camp.
