The Battleground pay-per-view was last night and it included the incredible return of The Undertaker to WWE TV.
Appearing for the first time since beating Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, Taker returned to interrupt the main event between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins. With Lesnar looking set to win back the title, Taker came in to ruin it and set up an epic for SummerSlam.
Another wrestling legend was expected to make his return last night, Sting. That didn't happen however, but now we know the Vigilante's plans heading into SummerSlam.

Bray Wyatt faced off against Roman Reigns last night at Battleground and was given a helping hand in his win by Luke Harper, with the former Wyatt Family member pushing Reigns into the ringpost and hitting him with a Superkick before Wyatt delivered the Sister Abigail for the win.
This seems like the beginning of a return for the Wyatt Family, with the third member either being someone new or Erick Rowan if he can return from injury. They will likely be going up against Roman Reigns to make his life hell.

This is where Sting comes in. With three people attacking him, Reigns will almost certainly have former Shield stable-mate Dean Ambrose in his corner. But that still leaves them at a three-on-two disadvantage.
Enter the Vigilante
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, via Wrestling Inc, in a storyline that could start as soon as tonight, Sting is expected to form an alliance with Reigns and Ambrose that could culminate in either a tag-team or three-man tag contest at SummerSlam.
The report went on to add that the WWE are hoping the presence of Sting will stop Reigns being booed by a particularly vociferous New York crowd.
"On a related note, WWE is hoping that fans won't boo Reigns because he will be partnered up with Sting but with SummerSlam taking place in New York City, they could easily boo Reigns and cheer Sting," they wrote.
Sting and Bray Wyatt seem like oddly kindred spirits, with both being dark and mysterious characters, so a feud between the two seems natural.
The SummerSlam matchup could also see a potential heel turn from either Ambrose or Reigns, which would be amazing.
