Last week on Raw, WWE principle owner Stephanie McMahon decided she would revolutionise the Divas division by introducing Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch to the main roster.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte teamed up with Paige while Sasha Banks joined Naomi and Tamina. The Bellas already had a threesome as Alicia Fox joined their ranks three weeks ago.
Stephanie said that she had given each of the three factions an equal opportunity, and now she wanted to see who took it.

This led to a 9-way battle between all of the Divas in which NXT divas proved why they have been moved up to the main roster as they all locked in their own personal submission lock on a Bella member.
The divas was in serious need of this change and credit to Stephanie, hopefully this means that the WWE divas division will be worth watching now and it will add a different dynamic to the show.
The divas division before this was just one of the Bellas fighting Paige every week on Raw. It was pointless and boring... This change was needed. The Divas have a lot to thank Steph for because a lot of people just stopped caring about it.
Battleground was a great example of the new and improved divas division. The crowd were louder and more excited than they have been in a long time while watching a divas match.
Charlotte, the daughter of the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, had the love and affection of the crowd because of who she is. The match was a triple threat between her, Sasha Banks and Brie Bella.
Sasha looked very dominant for much of the match but it was Charlotte who ran out victorious in her first official match in the WWE. The crowd were raucous and very excitable, proving that Stephanie McMahon has made a great decision bringing in the NXT divas.
She may have just saved the divas division.
