When The Undertaker appeared and took out Brock Lesnar during his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground this signalled the end of the Lesnar/Rollins rivalry, leaving the World title picture wide open heading into SummerSlam.
Many thought Triple H was about to step up and take on his protege, but that rivalry seems to have been put on the back burner. Now, the WWE are looking for a Champion vs Champion match at "The Biggest Party of the Summer."
John Cena vs Seth Rollins?
Monday night Raw planted the seeds for a rivalry when John Cena interrupted Seth Rollins and talked about how much prestige he had brought to the US Title (That he won on the same night as Rollins at WrestleMania 32), whilst Rollins has done nothing but bring down the World Championship.

This lead to a confrontation that Rollins then walked away from, but now it seems the two are set to collide in just four weeks time.
With Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker already headlining SummerSlam this year, it means that the World Championship won't be the main event for the first time on Pay-per-view since Fastlane earlier this year.
It also means that WWE already have their main draw for the event so they can be afforded a little less creativity.
John Cena and Seth Rollins haven't faced each other on pay-per-view since the Royal Rumble when they were both a part of a match of the year candidate in a triple threat match with Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
It is thought that no title will be on the line here, because it is just a case of bragging rights for the champion that wins so that they can be officially called "The Best."
What about Kevin Owens?
Brock Lesnar has moved on from Seth Rollins, but what about Kevin Owens, has he moved on from John Cena? When Cena made him tap out to the STF at Battleground this signalled the end of their rivalry and according to various reports within WWE. Owens is now set to be dropped back down the card.
Officials don't see Kevin Owens as a future main event star despite him being involved in three match of the year candidates since his main roster debut just two months ago.
The fact that he was part of the Lesnar/Undertaker brawl on Monday night was WWE's way of showing the fans where they feel his place is now on the roster.
Owens will now face Finn Balor in four weeks time for the NXT Championship, the night before SummerSlam at NXT Takeover. This makes it unlikely that he will be a part of the event itself.
