This is according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who say those close to the unsettled Barça star are increasingly convinced the transfer will now go through.
Due to the speed of negotiations, there’s a chance the deal could be done before Manchester United play Barcelona in California this Saturday.

Marca understand that the increased speed of the negotiations is down to two primary reasons: the fact the new Premier League campaign kicks off on August 8 combined with Manchester United’s two-legged Champions League play-off qualifier weeks later.
Pedro, who has also been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks, has decided to leave Barcelona despite putting pen to paper on a three-year contract extension with the Catalan giants last month.
Barcelona resigned to losing Pedro
By signing the new contract, Pedro’s release clause subsequently dropped from €150 million to €30 million - or £22 million.
An offer of £22 million would leave Barcelona powerless to prevent Pedro leaving the Camp Nou this summer - as Luis Enrique admitted in his press conference following his side’s 2-1 win over LA Galaxy on Tuesday night.
Pedro was already weighing up his options before signing his contract extension with Barcelona after making just 15 league starts for the La Liga champions last season.
Although the underrated forward made 50 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions under Enrique last term, he was often used as a substitute and only managed to score 11 goals over the course of the season in the process.
Pedro added three more winners’ medals to his extensive collection last season but was disappointed on a personal level with his lack of minutes.
That Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar performed so magnificently as a trio last season means Pedro is resigned to the fact he will remain a rotation option if he stays put at the Camp Nou.
Man United move makes sense for Pedro
Manchester United are offering Pedro the chance to become the Red Devils’ first-choice right-sided forward.
Memphis Depay was expected to play in that position next season, but Louis van Gaal has been using the Dutchman behind Wayne Rooney in pre-season.
That Pedro can play right, left and through the middle - just like Depay - makes him an extremely attractive option for Van Gaal, who has a track record of signing versatile players.
And at £22 million, Pedro could prove to be one of the signings of the summer for Manchester United.
