Jesus Navas believes his friend and international team-mate Sergio Ramos is fully focused on Real Madrid despite interest from Manchester United.
The centre-back has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford and has reportedly asked Florentino Perez to let him leave this summer.
Louis van Gaal has suggested that his transfer fixer Ed Woodward is currently negotiating a deal with the La Liga club while a swap deal involving United's goalkeeper David de Gea has also been mooted.

A report from Spain's biggest newspaper El Pais claimed that Real Madrid were finally warming to the idea of letting Ramos leave the Bernabeu so long as De Gea moves in the opposite direction.
Navas, who currently plies his trade with United's local rivals Manchester City, came through the Sevilla youth system alongside Ramos and the pair have remained friends ever since.

He believes that Ramos is still fully focused on starting the new season as a Real Madrid player but can't deny that a move to Manchester United remains a possibility.
He doesn't talk about those things with me, but I think he is focused on Real."
Thinking about Real Madrid
"Sergio is a colleague and a friend and I always wish him the best," Navas told Marca. "He is in a top club and I don't know what is going to happen regarding his future. I have not spoken about this with him.
"We were together this summer at a wedding of a friend of ours but he was only concerned about resting. He doesn't talk about those things with me, but I think he is focused on Real.
"I don't know if he will continue there -- that is something you would have to ask him. I just wish him the best and that he is happy wherever he is."
Is Ramos serious?
Since it emerged that Ramos had demanded a move to Manchester United, there have been a large number of well-connected reporters who have suggested it is purely a ruse to get an improved contract offer from Real Madrid. The 29-year-old still has two years to run on his current contract but wanted his deal extended and improved.
However, the aforementioned report from El Pais seems to suggest that Ramos is genuinely set on the challenge on offer at Old Trafford and could well get the chance to sign for Manchester United. If he actually has no intention to sign for the Red Devils, it seems things might get a little awkward around the negotiating table soon.
Do you think Sergio Ramos actually wants to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United?
