Liverpool striker Danny Ings helped himself to a second-half hat-trick in Liverpool's 7-0 practice match romp of Malaysian side Felda United earlier today.
The game, despite being officially played behind closed doors, was attended by as many as 5,000 Reds fans, who most certainly enjoyed themselves in the easy win for Brendan Rodgers' side.
In truth, the clash was nothing more than a training session, with the game only being 60 minutes long, but it would have no doubt proved a boost for Ings, who has now found the back of the net on four occasions in the red shirt of Liverpool.

A number of first-team stars took to the field against the Malaysian opposition, with the likes of Andre Wisdom, Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho and Lazar Markovic joining Ings in the side.

With Ings hogging the limelight, the quartet of Lazar Markovic, Pedro Chiravella, Sheyi Ojo and Joao Carlos Teixeira also managed to find the back of the net throughout the proceedings, as the Reds players continue to improve on their fitness ahead of the new campaign.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves: Ings' treble only came against Felda United, who were never going to be a match for the Merseyside outfit, but the former Burnley man may well surprise one or two in the 2015/16 campaign.
Ultimately, after acting as the talisman for struggling Burnley last term, the Englishman will be desperate to prove his credentials at the highest level once again.
There's no doubt about it, with the likes of Christian Benteke, Daniel Sturridge and Co. already at the club, Ings may not be a regular starter under Rodgers next term, but he's certainly a fine option to have.
If given the opportunity, he will no doubt score goals for Liverpool, and he's young enough to become a fine asset for the Reds for many years to come. He may not be the biggest name, but he will have a role to play for the long term.
