Seattle Seahawks found themselves on the end of several jokes by EA Sports twitter account over Marshawn Lynch’s trucking rating.
Player ratings for the upcoming Madden 16 video game were announced this week and the Seahawks running back was rated as the best back on the game with a 96 overall rating, putting him ahead of Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson.
He was given a 99 stiff arm and a 98 trucking rating, but the current NFC Champions were not happy with this.

EA Sports Madden NFL first little pun on their twitter account was that Lynch said “I’m thankful” when he was asked how it feels to be the highest rated running back. A little joke, but the best was yet to come.
However, the Seahawks took a different stance on the situation, because they were unhappy with the trucking rating their 29-year-old running back was given on the video game. They felt he should have been given 99 instead of 98.
They tweeted out their disappointment straight to the people at EA Sports.
EA Sports answered with probably one of the best NFL related comebacks you'll ever see.
This is of course in reference to the Super Bowl that took place last February against the New England Patriots. If the Seahawks had given the ball to their star running back on the final play of that game, they probably would have won their second Super Bowl in succession.
The twitter banter continued and the Seahawks responded with Lynch’s guide to life, but EA Sports went one better and responded with another golden tweet.
Kudos to EA Sports as they had some great banter, and for the Seahawks for taking it well too. Maybe the Seahawks should just run with what they are given next time again to avoid any further humiliation.
