Ronaldinho happy to leave Barca behind

AC Milan playmaker Ronaldinho has described his final months at Barcelona as the "worst period of his life".

The 28-year-old made the switch to the Serie A in mid-July, after injury woes and a lack of form saw him lose his starting spot at Barca and confined him to only 11 appearances.

"It has been the worst period of my life," he told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. "I was unlucky, I couldn´t be in the side, I couldn´t play. The only thing I could do was watch TV. And watching the games sat in armchair made me even more depressed."
