The Undertaker returned in a blaze of glory at Battleground but even though the Phenom is back for the time being, we all know that our beloved resident anti hero will be leaving WWE for good soon.
This means that we need to replace him, the WWE have already tried and failed to do just that with Bray Wyatt, but could the current NXT champion Finn Balor be better suited to the role?
As the WWE website states, Balor is 'the king of the Fomorians who could cause wanton destruction simply by opening his fearsome eye.'

For anybody who has never seen Balor before, he is a 190 lb Irishman with terrifying war paint all over his body. He looks like some kind of demon from below ground crossed with a native american war lord.
He is the current NXT champion after he defeated Kevin Owens for the title in the 'Beast in the East' in Tokyo earlier this month.
Considering he is the NXT champion and he is known to pretty much everybody in the WWE Universe, he would be the logical choice to be the next NXT superstar promoted to the main roster.
His character is one of destruction. Everywhere he turns he causes destruction, whether it be in the tag team division with Hideo Itami or in the singles competition where he currently rules the roost, he is an incredible force to be reckoned with.
When is promoted to the main roster, it makes sense to have him follow on from Undertaker in that his character is a sort of anti hero who does what he wants, when he wants.
He takes no prisoners and is neither face nor heel, he is just there. He targets people that have annoyed him and decides to take them out.
They tried it with Bray Wyatt but it failed miserably because Wyatt isn't scary or intimidating in the way that the painted Irishman is. Wyatt is creepy and weird but he doesn't intimidate, he is more of a joke than anything else. At least that's how his character feels to me.
Balor is the perfect opportunity to finally have that intimidating, no nonsense warrior that we have been calling out for since Taker cut down his WWE appearances to one a year.
Although we are all delighted he is back, he won't be forever. He will more than likely leave again after SummerSlam and return for one more fight at Wrestlemania. Having said all that, it's time for his replacement.
WWE, bring in Finn Balor and give us that famous Taker style character back. The main roster is calling out for something like that to spice things up a bit.
