Ever since Valtteri Bottas burst onto the Formula One scene in 2013, everyone has known that he is one to watch for the future.
Links with Ferrari
That future seems to be rapidly approaching as links between Bottas and Ferrari have dramatically increased after the Italian press reported that Ferrari had reached a financial settlement with Williams to release the Finn from the final year of his contract
However, Sky sources have insisted that even if there has been a deal between Williams and Ferrari, talks between the driver and the Italian team are yet to begin.

When questioned by reporters ahead of this weekends Hungarian Grand Prix, Bottas stated "There's nothing new to tell, there is nothing confirmed. As a driver you wanted things sorted out as quickly as possible but sometimes you need to wait."
Ferrari VS Williams
We all know that Ferrari and Williams are locked in the battle to see who can finish as 'best of the rest' in this years constructors championship as Mercedes are over 150 points ahead with Ferrari and Williams separated by another 60 points.
As it stands, Ferrari would finish ahead of Williams, as they have had the better first half of the season, but as we saw last time out at Silverstone, people shouldn't forget about Williams, as they are always there ready to pounce on any opportunity they are given.
Most Formula 1 fans know that Valtteri Bottas is one of the nicest guys on the grid, he's always happy to chat with reporters and fans, but most of all he is loyal to his team.
The biggest sticking point about a potential move to Ferrari isn't whether or not Williams would let it happen, it is whether or not Bottas would want to leave Williams. He has stated on a number of occasions that he is happy at Williams and likes the direction that the team is headed in, convincing most reporters that he would be happy to stay with the English outfit.
However will the lure of Ferrari red prove too much for Bottas? You look at Sebastian Vettel, who was extremely loyal to Red Bull, however the moment he was offered the chance to run the prancing horse he couldn't turn it down.
Wherever Bottas goes he has the potential to be a World Champion, and imagine Ferrari's lineup next year if they managed to lure the Finn away from Williams.
