In recent years, Arsenal have been slowly developing a top quality side and, with the addition of Alexis Sanchez last season, they now look a side that could potentially compete in all the top competitions.
With the news that Karim Benzema is now the main transfer target for the club, many fans would agree that the forward line could be boosted with the quality of a top-class striker.
Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott have all done well in the position in the past, but the purchase of Benzema would be a step up from the trio.

But are there other areas where Arsenal should be more concerned about?
One area in particular would be in defence. With Laurent Koscielny now an important member at the back, you may think that Arsenal's defence is solid, but the other centre-half spot is far from assured.
Both Per Mertesacker and Gabriel have been fighting it out to make the position their own.
Mertesacker, a World Cup winner in 2014, has been consistent in the heart of defence. His height gives him the upper hand against many of his opponents and he is also a nice distributor of the ball.
However, a major concern is the lack of pace the German international has, and it seems a certain level of pace is becoming a necessity in the Premier League.
Gabriel is a new signing having arrived from Villarreal in January 2015. With only half a season under his belt, it is hard to give a firm judgement on the player yet, but with only six league appearances to his name in an Arsenal shirt, it appears Mertesacker is the preferred partner for Koscielny.
