Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has revealed striker David Trezeguet will remain with the club for the immediate future.

The former France international has been a reported transfer target of Barcelona this summer, with the Catalans linked with a 25million euro bid.

"Trezeguet is staying put," said Cobolli Gigli. "We will see what happens in the future but for the time being we remain as we are."
