Hulk Hogan faced off against the biggest and best wrestling stars of his era during his time in the WWE ring, but the Hall of Famer is now facing his toughest test and it comes outside the squared circle.
A racism storm that began on Friday when racist comments attributed to Hogan emerged has led to WWE cutting all ties with him and the wider world calling for answers.
Hogan's hasty apology did little to appease his critics and now the wrestling veteran has taken to social media to send a message to his fans as the controversy continues.

With few people on his side considering the comments dating from 2007 - which included the use of the N-word and Hogan stating himself that "I am racist" - he clearly felt the need to thank the few who are backing him.
The tweets were accompanied by Hulk Hogan re-tweeting a number of messages from those showing him support.
Although Hulk Hogan may have some who are willing forgive him for the comments (which can be found here) many within, and outside, the WWE Universe are continuing to vent their anger.
Long-time nemesis, Scott Steiner, has been vocal in his condemnation of Hogan whilst former ECW wrester New Jack has also used social media to issue a violent response to the racist quotes.
