Soriano vows to keep stars

New Valencia president Vicente Soriano insists star players David Villa and David Silva will not leave the club this summer.

The Spanish businessman bought the majority share package of the Primera Liga outfit from outgoing president Juan Soler on Thursday evening before taking over his new role after the club´s administration council on Friday.

Soriano confirmed coach Unai Emery will continue in charge of Los Che and that he has no intention to sell Spain internationals Villa and Silva, both of whom have reportedly been attracting interest from clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Internazionale.
