Senna snubs Fener approach

Villarreal captain Marcos Senna has turned down the chance to link up with former Spain coach Luis Aragones at Fenerbahce, insisting he is happy to remain at the Estadio El Madrigal.

Reports in Spain claimed the Turkish club were preparing a big-money deal for Senna and were prepared to offer the Brazilian-born 32-year-old a bumper pay-packet of 3.5million euros a season.

But the Spain midfielder told Spanish sports daily Marca: "At the moment I want to play the next World Cup with Spain and I hope to win the Champions League with Villarreal, it´s my dream,"
