There was a recurring situation where he had to step up and make the difference to determine if Arsenal came away with the three points. He's a leader and a workhorse demonstrating just why Arsene Wenger signed him for the fee he did.

With an impressive 22 goals and nine assists in all competitions last year in his first season at the Emirates, topping both Eden Hazard and Angel Di Maria, if Alexis was to carry on this kind of form, he could well see his name being engraved into the Ballon D’Or next year.
Another unbelievable season for Sanchez may leave Barcelona regretting the sale of their former winger. There's no doubt he will be able to make the top three but he like all contenders who make it that far has the job of passing Ronaldo and former Barcelona team mate Lionel Messi.
The Premier League is arguably the most competitive league in Europe and often labelled as the best league around the world, so there's no better stage for Alexis to perform on than in England's top division.
A whole host of trophies will back his case as Arsenal look to retain the FA Cup for the third year in a row, as well as pushing for the premier league and that one step further for the UEFA Champions League.
