The past 12 months or so have seen a number of wrestlers depart the WWE on what can only be described as bad terms.
The likes of CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio left the company in a swirl of controversy and their chances of ever returning to the business appear virtually zero.
The same was thought to be the case for Rey Mysterio - the popular wrestler having quit the WWE late in 2014 after a long absence amidst injury and contract wrangling. That was until he spoke this weekend at a Comic Con in London, England.

Door is open
According to NoDq.com, Mysterio revealed to fans at the UK event that the door is very much open for him to return to the WWE one day further down the line.
Unlike Punk of Del Rio, Mysterio noted that when he left the WWE back in February he did so on "very good terms."
Mysterio was part of the WWE for 13 years and developed a cult following during that time due to his acrobatic entertaining style.
He enjoyed huge success too, becoming the WWE Champion for a (very) brief time in 2011 and even holding the Heavyweight title.
The end of his time with the WWE, though, was far from a blaze of glory. Having spent eight months out nursing a knee injury in 2013, Mysterio then missed 10 months of action between April 2014 and his contract expiration this year as rumors of unrest mounted.
To hear then that a return could happen due to a good working relationship with the WWE hierarchy will surprise some.
That Rey Mysterio is even still wrestling is something of an achievement considering the tough past six months the veteran has had.
Moving to AAA after his WWE days came to an end, Mysterio was involved in the tragic events that ultimately saw El Hijo del Perro Aguayo lose his life after a freak in-ring accident.
There was speculation at the time that Rey Mysterio would quit the wrestling business for good. Now though, it looks like he is open to all opportunities - even if that means a sensational return to the WWE somewhere down the line.
