Victor Valdes has spoken out for the first time since criticising Louis van Gaal

Ed Woodward has returned to the UK ahead of completing a deal for Barcelona winger Pedro, according to reports. The Spaniard has a £22 million release clause and Woodward is set to make him the club’s 6th summer signing say the Mirror. Next and it looks like Man United’s move for Sergio Ramos is off, with reports in Spain claiming he’ll sign a new contract at the Bernabeu. The Daily Star say that the Red Devils feel betrayed by Ramos, who had informed them he wanted a move to the Premier League. And finally, Victor Valdes’ has tweeted for the first time since hitting out at Louis van Gaal - posting a picture of himself as he prepares for one of his last training sessions as a Manchester United player.
