Sagnol considering France retirement

Published Add your comment

Bayern Munich defender Willy Sagnol has admitted he could call time on his international career, but insists he will not rush into anything.

Sagnol could follow in the footsteps of compatriots David Trezeguet, Claude Makelele and Lilian Thuram who all announced their international retirement after France´s dismal showing at Euro 2008 under coach Raymond Domenech.

"I simply haven´t decided anything," Sagnol told Bayern Munich´s official club website. "The coach (Domenech) told me it would be a shame if I stopped now."
