Filipe Luis has completed a return to Atletico Madrid on a four-year deal after one season with Chelsea in the Premier League, reports BBC Sport.
The Brazilian left back, 29, moved to Stamford Bridge in July last year for £15.8 million, but endured a disappointing season as Cesar Azpilicueta shone in the left back role.
Luis played 26 times for the Blues as they won a Premier League and Capital One Cup double, scoring one goal in the Capital One Cup quarter-final win at Derby County in December.

In a statement posted on the Atletico website, sporting director José Luis Pérez Caminero said:
"We all know Filipe Luis. We have strengthened with one of the most talented full backs in the world. He knows our club and our style of play so we are sure that he will adapt immediately."

Luis' future at Chelsea has been talked about for several months and Jose Mourinho confirmed on July 21 that Luis was leaving.
Luis returns to Atletico where he enjoyed a four year spell following a move from fellow La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna. In the 2013-2014 season Luis was ever present as Los Rojiblancos claimed their first La Liga title in 18 years and were runners up to city rivals Real Madrid in the Champions League. The Brazilian was also nominated as the league's best defender after Diego Simeone's side conceded just 26 goals in 38 league games.
He was reunited with fellow title-winning teammates Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois following his move to Stamford Bridge.
He also played every minute of Brazil's Copa America campaign in Chile over the summer following an injury to Real Madrid left back Marcelo, but Dunga's side crashed out at the quarter final stage, losing 4-3 on penalties to Paraguay.
Chelsea have since been rumoured to be interested in Augsburg's Baba Rahman. The 21-year-old Ghanaian has also attracted interest from Chelsea's Premier League rivals Arsenal but is believed to be more open to a move to Stamford Bridge.
One other candidate to replace Luis is Galatasaray's Brazilian left-back Alex Telles. The 22-year-old is uncapped but has already played 57 times for the Istanbul giants, scoring twice.
