Rennes won´t sell Briand on the cheap

Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi has told want-away forward Jimmy Briand he can leave but only for a price the club thinks is right.

On Saturday the 22-year-old revealed he felt "betrayed" by the club, claiming he had made a deal with Dreossi which would let him leave should Paris St Germain make good on their interest in the player with a bid.

However, Rennes have rejected PSG´s approaches, leading the French youngster to threaten to quit football if his club do not allow him to leave.
