Turkish football is in mourning following the sudden death of Hasan Dogan, the president of the Turkish Football Federation.

Dogan, who was 52, suffered a heart attack during a lunchtime meeting with national team coach Fatih Terim and TFF board member Levent Kazil in Mugla on Saturday, and later died in hospital.

His death comes a little over a week after Turkey made news around the world with their outstanding run to the semi-finals of Euro 2008.
