Reported Arsenal target Marcos Senna has asked his club Villarreal not to sell him.

The 31-year-old Brazil-born midfielder caught the eye at Euro 2008 this summer during Spain´s march to the title, and as such now finds himself on the wanted list of a number of Europe´s top clubs.

Senna claims he is aware of the interest in him, but has asked club president Fernando Roig not to be tempted to cash in telling Spanish website Terra: "Last Tuesday I had dinner with club president Fernando Roig Alfonso and I asked him not to let me go."
