Ridiculous Reus bid on?
Arsenal fans will be used to Arsene Wenger making marquee signings in the summer thanks to the Frenchman's proclivity when it comes to spending money of late.
Mesut Ozil arrived in 2013, Alexis Sanchez was purchased in 2014 and it would appear that Marco Reus might yet be bought in 2015. According to Germany’s Bild Wenger wants to buy the Borussia Dortmund star this summer despite the fact he’ll cost £48million.

The forward is wanted by Real Madrid and Liverpool as well, but Arsenal supposedly have the funds and of course the huge incentive that he could turn them into Premier League winners.

We’re not attempting to pull wool over anyone’s eyes so we’ll say what everyone’s thinking; it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. With the best will in the world Reus is a Dortmund player, and any club wanting to sign him is going to have to move mountains to do so.
Meanwhile Gunners legend Martin Keown has urged John Stones to reject Manchester United and Chelsea, instead advising him to stay with Everton.
The England international has been the subject of two bids from the Blues, both of which have been rejected, by Keown thinks it wise that he remains where he is to continue his development.
Balague on Benzema
Finishing up with a timely update from Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, it appears that Arsenal fans wanting to see Karim Benzema move to the Emirates Stadium this summer are in store for disappointment.
Balague tweeted earlier today during a Twitter Q&A session that there was ‘no way’ Benzema would be leaving Real Madrid, which for those who refuse to read between the lines means it’s impossible for him to join the Gunners.
Who cares, you’re buying Reus anyway, right?
