Blackburn Rovers forward Rudy Gestede looks set to move to Aston Villa after a fee in the region of £6 million was agreed between the two clubs this morning, according to the Sky Sports.
West Brom are also interested and talkSPORT report that the Baggies are willing to match Villa's bid of £6 million.
Gestede joined Rovers from Cardiff in 2014 after a short loan spell at Ewood Park and has attracted plenty of interest from clubs since scoring 20 goals in last season's Championship.

The 26-year-old's striking partner at Rovers, Jordan Rhodes, went one better with 21 league goals. Rhodes has been a target of Middlesbrough this summer and are rumoured to be lining up a £14 million bid for the Scotland target man after already having one offer knocked back by Rovers.
Rhodes is unhappy at not having the chance to talk to Middlesbrough regarding a potential move, according to a report by Sky Sports.
Speaking to ESPN FC, Oldham born Rhodes said: "When I left Huddersfield I felt the timing was right in the next stage of my career and, having seen Middlesbrough's performances last season in reaching the play-off final and their ambition this summer in terms of acquisitions, I would have liked to have been able to talk to them and I am unhappy at not being given that opportunity."
It seems more of a case of 'when' rather than 'if' both Gestede and Rhodes finally complete their moves away from East Lancashire.
Blackburn face Wigan Athletic on Saturday in what will be their final fixture of pre-season. Gestede is expected to complete his move to Villa in advance of the match and Rhodes is a doubt due to an injury.
