Jack Wilshire was a surprise inclusion in Mario Gotze's 5-a-side dream team during an interview with Nike Football yesterday.

The Arsenal and England midfielder was selected alongside Rafinha, Thiago Silva, Andres Iniesta and Paul Pogba in the World Cup winner's side; high praise indeed.

Gotze recalls an Under 17's European Championship fixture he played for Germany against England and says the 23-year-old is a "fantastic player".

The Stevenage born midfielder currently has 100 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal with six goals to his name. Despite just half-a-dozen league goals to his name, Wilshire has won Goal of the Season for the past two Premier League campaigns for finishing off fantastic team goals against Norwich City and West Brom at The Emirates respectively.

Wilshire's appearance in this fearsome line-up is not all that impressive, however, seeing as only players who choose to wear Magista boots were allowed in the team as part of the Nike promotional video.

Wilshire could come up against Gotze in March 2016 when Rog Hodgson's England side take on Germany away from home in an international friendly. He currently has 28 caps and two goals for his country since making his debut against Hungary in 2010.
