The 42-year-old was stopped for DUI on June 1 in Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania for a vehicle code violation, and stopped once again on June 20 after she was involved in a crash in Towamensing.
Sunny was scheduled for a hearing on July 29 for her arrest on May 30, during which her blood alcohol content was .253 per cent, three times higher than the legal limit. However, she wasn’t present for this hearing.
Therefore, the former WWE Diva will now go to trial at Carbon County Court for all the charges general impairment, driving under the influence, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and careless driving.
This is scheduled for 8:30am on September 3.
Sunny was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 by the entire roster of WWE Divas. She is highly considered to be the first ever WWE Divas and is one of the most famous Divas to have ever wrestled in the business.
During her time with the WWE, she won two Slammy Awards in 1996. Sunny was also voted Manager of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated whilst managing The Bodydonnas in the same year.
Her career seems to have taken a turn for the worst ever since her Hall of Fame induction, as she was arrested five times over a four-week span in 2012 for disorderly conduct, third degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order.
Sunny has also served 114 days in jail after being arrested for a sixth time in January 2013.
