It will come as a shock to absolutely nobody that Vince McMahon loves celebrity appearances in the WWE.
The list is endless, with Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Lawrence Taylor, Donald Trump and more recently the likes of Ronda Rousey and the cast of Entourage making appearances at WrestleMania and Monday Night Raw, respectively.
And that trend will definitely be continuing, with Arrow actor Stephen Amell seemingly confirming that he is going to be appearing on WWE programming soon enough.

We have written earlier this week that Amell was looking likely to appear at SummerSlam, and now it seems that the man himself has confirmed it.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Amell posted a picture of himself in full Green Arrow getup alongside a tagline saying that he is coming for Stardust.
"Stardust stole my line. Somebody point me in the direction of the WWE Universe. It's on."

In what would be another new development, it seems the WWE are going to put Amell in a tag team event, where he would take on Stardust and The Miz alongside Neville, who has been Stardust's target in recent weeks.
Heroes and Villains
Adding The Miz to the match would make sense as he fancies himself as a top Hollywood star and Amell's presence can obviously cause a fallout and envy from Miz. And it needs to be a tag match to hide Amell's lack of wrestling training, which would be badly exposed in a singles event.
It also follows the Hero vs Villains line that the WWE has been going with in recent weeks, with Neville being portrayed as a comic-book superhero in his 'Man That Gravity Forgot' gimmick. This could also see the debut of the New Arrow suit, which fans of the series would love.
