Olof Mellberg insists he will not be among the Sweden players retiring from international football after they were knocked out of Euro 2008.

Sweden took an experienced squad to the finals and after failing to make it out of Group D, a new generation is now expected to establish themselves.

However, veteran striker Henrik Larsson felt last night´s 2-0 defeat to Russia in Innsbruck would not be his last game for Sweden, and Mellberg is also willing to continue, by saying: "It´s just a case of fighting back, and if the manager picks me, I´ll be there to give 100 per cent.
