Angel Di Maria is closing in on a move to Paris Saint Germain with French newspaper Le Parisien reporting that the Manchester United man is in Doha today for a medical.
The 27-year-old Old Trafford superstar has been laying low over the past few days after missing his flight out to the United States to join Manchester United’s preseason preparations.
PSG boss Laurent Blanc has sounded increasingly confident in his press conferences that the Parisian club will sign the Argentinian midfielder.

And it looks like with good reason as the Manchester United attacker is reportedly in the Middle East putting the finishing touches on his move away from Louis van Gaal’s side.
His exact location is still not clear, but French reports believe Di Maria is in Doha with a medical scheduled for later today.
Signed for a British transfer record of £60m last summer from Real Madrid, Di Maria suffered from an injury hit first season in England and failed to settle. Manchester United are now looking to recoup about £45m from PSG, with the Ligue 1 club set to offer him a four-year contract worth around €10m-a-year.
It’s unclear whether Louis van Gaal will use the money received from the Di Maria sale to stregthen United’s squad further. He’s already been active in the transfer market and Manchester United are well stocked in attacking midfield.
But with United desperate to take their place back at the top of the English football pyramid, it’s safe to say they will be looking at potential targets before the transfer window shuts. However unlikely, reports in England today once again link them to Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.
What do you think Manchester United fans - if the club sells Di Maria, who should they target?
