Seth Rollins has challenged John Cena to a title for title match at SummerSlam.
During Monday Night Raw, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion issued a challenge to the United States Champion. This was a U.S. title vs WWE title match at SummerSlam on August 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The winner would take both titles.
This match is not yet official as Cena is yet to respond to Rollins' request, as he is still out with an injury which was caused by Rollins.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion injured the United States Champion last week on Raw by breaking his nose with his knee. Rollins showed footage of this happening on last night's show. Smart move by him to add value to this feud.
Cena is now not expected back on Raw till the go-home show before SummerSlam.
It is likely Cena might not accept the challenge till then. If he does accept, this match would end up being one of the main events at the pay-per-view, alongside the highly anticipated rematch between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.
In the wake of Cena's absence, Rollins offered up his own open title challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is mimicking what Cena has been doing every week since winning the United States Championship at WrestleMania.
However, Rollins issued restrictions that his opponent had to be under six foot and no more than 200 pounds, teasing an appearance of El Torito. Instead, Neville came down the ramp to the ring.
Neville accepted Rollins challenge and the two superstars put on a good match, with Rollins coming out victorious and still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
All in all, this now sets up the feud between Cena and Rollins nicely, using Cena's nose injury to full affect. If Cena does accept Rollins challenge, it will make SummerSlam that little bit more exciting to watch.
