Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos before the transfer window closes, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.
Kroos had an excellent season in terms of individual performance, playing a key role under former manager Carlo Ancelotti, and was the engine of the midfield in the absence of Luka Modric in the latter part of the 2014/15 season.
Motta to join Atletico
Sources have claimed PSG are destined to lose the services of Italian international Thiago Motta, who wants to return to La Liga. Atletico Madrid are a feasible option and manager Laurent Blanc has earmarked Kroos as his preferred choice to replace the outgoing midfielder.

Kroos played as an attacking midfielder during his Bayern Munich days and primarily occupied the defensive midfield position at Real Madrid, perfecting his style of play under the guidance of Ancelotti.
However, the French giants are aware of the Galacticos’ reluctance to sell the player to one of their European rivals, and have drawn other options should they fail in their pursuit of Kroos.

Barcelona midfield maestro, Sergio Busquets and Bayern Munich duo, Javi Martinez and Xabi Alonso are on said to be on Blanc's radar, although Kroos is the man they want if they can get him.
The 25-year-old German featured in 36 league games for Los Blancos, scoring two goals and making seven assists.
Contracted till 2020, Kroos has been instrumental for Real as well as the German national team for the past year.
On the international scene
A pivotal figure during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Kroos has been garnering praise from the stalwarts of the game. Manchester United legend Paul Scholes described the World Cup winner as a top class central midfielder, while former Netherlands captain Johan Cruyff was also.
Known for his accurate passing, his long range shots and an architect to set up goals, Kroos would be an indispensable part of whichever team he represents.
